Back in late 1982, I got hooked on genealogy while attending my grandmother's funeral. As we were leaving the cemetery, we spotted an old, unkempt grave marker for a Yoho Watson. Turns out, he was my great-uncle who served in the Union Army at the age of 44! Who was this old timer with a white beard hanging below his waist?

I was raised in the farmlands of New Jersey, not far from Washington's Crossing, covered bridges and home's with signs that read, "Washington slep here". It was like stepping back in time, surrounded by all the early American history.

After high school, I joined the Air Force and a year later I met my wife at a Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans. After four years, we both had enough of military life, so I got a degree in Computer Science and eventually moved to Houston.

My paternal ancestor mostly came from Noble County, Ohio, but they had roots in England, Scotland and a bit of Irish. My maternal side hails from Germany.
