Members Helping Members
Gail Colby, Coordinator
"Members Helping Members" is a concept we picked up from another organization… you join a Zoom meeting with any question or success related to genealogy; pose your question; or share your discovery with fellow members and, who knows, one of them may have the answer or your success may be just the tip that they were searching for! Some MHM sessions may begin with a specific topic or short demo, others will be completely unscripted. They will also be an occasion to develop friendships with fellow members who share your passion for genealogy!
For handouts from previous sessions, and an active Zoom session link to meetings about to begin, click here: MHM Page, or, go to the Members Helping Members Archives page under the Members Only tab of the website. As the title implies, membership in WHAGS is required to participate in the Members Helping Members sessions.
Our next session will be:
-
Thursday, Feb 16th - 10:00 am - via Zoom
What brick walls have you run into, or overcome? What types of records are you searching for? Do you need help with Ancestry or FamilySearch? Are you looking for tips on your research? Do you need help interpreting census records?
Bring any and all questions to MHM, and your fellow WHAGS members will try to help you. This is a great way to learn new techniques and tips to further your research. It is also a great networking opportunity to learn about your fellow genealogists and discover if you have a common research interest or area.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday morning!
Program will be conducted virtually via Zoom unless otherwise stated.
